FINDLAW UNVEILS SMALL BUSINESS & CONSUMER CENTERS


PALO ALTO, CA -- January 11, 1999 -- FindLaw, Inc., the Internet legal portal, today expanded its offerings to include resource centers specifically tailored to meet the needs of small businesses and consumers.

The FindLaw Small Business Center includes thousands of pages of essential information on starting, financing, managing and marketing for small businesses, including step-by-step checklists, model business plans, legal and business forms, other business documents and the latest legal and business news.

The FindLaw Consumer Center contains thousands of articles and resources in scores of categories to help consumers deal with a wide range of issues, including, Banking, Bankruptcy, Credit, Discrimination, Elder Law, Estate Planning, Family Law, Government Benefits, Health and Medicine, Immigration, Intellectual Property, Investments, Labor & Employment, Personal Injury, Landlord/Tenant & Real Estate, Securities and much more.

The FindLaw Consumer Center also contains contact information for national consumer organizations, better business bureaus, corporations, trade associations, state and local consumer protection offices, state agencies, military consumer offices, and federal agencies, and tips and information on how victimized consumers can complain effectively.
