FINDLAW PARTNERS WITH COURTEXPRESS TO PROVIDE REAL-TIME INTERNET ACCESS TO NATION'S COURTS
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (August 10, 2000) - FindLaw, the pioneer andleader in online legal information and services, announced today apartnership with CourtEXPRESS, the leading provider of Internet accessto federal and state court case information and nationwide documentretrieval. Through this new partnership, FindLaw users have real-timeInternet access to filings in the nation's courts.
Under the agreement, FindLaw provides its registered users with freemembership to the CourtEXPRESS system for retrieving current caseinformation from the US Supreme Court, all U.S. District, Bankruptcyand Appellate Courts and select state courts -- including docketsheets, case status, party, judge and nature of suit information.FindLaw users also have access to CourtEXPRESS' nationwide full-textdocument retrieval service, including the new ability to downloadfull-text documents.
