FINDLAW LAUNCHES MASSIVE LAWYER AND LAW FIRM DIRECTORY
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (October 17, 2000) -- FindLaw, Inc., the pioneer and leader in online legal information and services, expanded its offerings today with the FindLaw Lawyer Directory (http://directory.findlaw.com), a massive database with over 500,000 lawyer and law firm listings.
The FindLaw Lawyer Directory, which is searchable by practice area, location and name, is the first in a series of FindLaw's new suite of services that connect businesses and consumers with legal professionals. In the coming weeks, FindLaw will announce the releases of the other offerings in this suite, enabling businesses and consumers to sign up for pre-paid legal services, receive fixed-fee legal services or request quotes for legal services.
