FindLaw to Power New Online Legal Resource Center for The Law Works
Viewers of Legal TV Program Can Now Continue Their Learning Online
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 11, 2003 FindLaw, the most-visited legal Web site according to leading independent Internet-traffic-monitoring services, today announced an agreement to provide a comprehensive collection of legal resources to West Virginia Public Broadcasting's television program on the law and legal issues, The Law Works.
Under the agreement, FindLaw will develop an online legal resource center to enable viewers of The Law Works to explore topics discussed on the show in more detail and obtain assistance for their legal matters. The resource center will contain user-friendly articles and other material from FindLaw for the Public, FindLaw for Business and FindLaw's Corporate Counsel Center, as well as access to West Legal Directory®, the Internet's largest searchable nationwide directory of attorneys.

The Law Works is broadcast by West Virginia Public Broadcasting and can be seen Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern) statewide in West Virginia and in areas of Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. The program is hosted by attorney Dan Ringer, who was named West Virginia's first "Lawyer Citizen of the Year" by the West Virginia Bar Foundation in 1999 and was named "Practitioner of the Year" by the American Bar Association in 2000.
