Hubbard One Honored by Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Chicagoland Fast 50 Company
EAGAN, Minn., Oct. 5, 2004 -- Hubbard One, a Thomson business (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), was ranked sixth out of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Chicagoland by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Hubbard One, the premier provider of Web-based applications and technology services for large law firms, has been honored on this prestigious list for four consecutive years. The Deloitte Chicagoland Technology Fast 50 selects companies based on the percentage growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1999 to 2003. .

To qualify for the Chicagoland Technology Fast 50, Chicagoland-based companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1 million in 2003; and be a technology company defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; and devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology. Hubbard One was acquired by The Thomson Corporation in July 2004.
